Coney Island

Last weekend I visited Coney Island with my sister. It was very sunny, but not hot so most weren't wearing typical beach attire.

I'm a Backpack!

I've illustrated many game rugs for G.A. Gertmenian & Sons which are sold in a variety of packaging in different stores. For the rugs sold inside clear backpacks, the store wanted a sticker to clearly indicate the added use.

I've enjoyed illustrating many step-by-step recipes for Turtle and Humpty Dumpty, and over the years the ingredient graphics have grown into quite a pantry!

As I started the sketch I thought of the Secret Sewer paper maps included with some of the toys in the early 90's.
